We have been working hard on inferences. Write about some of the inferences you are making at home while you read your 20 minutes each night. I am reading Rick Riordan's The Serpent's Shadow.
In the book Carter says, "I needed sleep. Instead, I paced the room." I know that when I cannot sleep I am usually worried or nervous about something that is going to happen, or I have a lot on my mind. I think that Carter is worried about all of his friends getting hurt and Apophis taking over the world.

I am reading xenocide. In my book Ender says, "As I walk through the hallway I see a gentle breese blow the curtains. Is there someone there..." When you are scared you tend to see things or hear them. I think Ender is scared.

I know that when I'm scared but can't scream,I am terribly scared.I think Laura is terribly scared of the cattle running over her.

ReplyDeleteI am reading ender's shadow and in it Bean says, "There is no telling what a man like him will do." When people say that someone there talking about is mysterious. I think the person they are talking about is mysterious.
